Steve Reich - ... ( 6 months ago by sequenzaVII)
Steve Reich - destroyer of western art music. He hated it all so he decided to ruin it by writing a bunch of repetitive crap to brainwash his audiences into believing that any piece that uses evil things like trichord's is dangerous territory..clap clap..
It's the musical equivelant to potatoes with no salt. Bland, tasteless, and totally unfulfilling.

I was totlay suprised after recently hearing about Reich. We were doing the same thing (at different times). A couple years ago, I started doing songs with only a few sounds. I did one track sampling 2 short lines from Harold & Maude and repeated them over and over with very few variations. I did other ones using drums. I'm glad that someone else does it, but I'm upset that I wasn't the first (I thought I was).
