I have to agree, Chris. As far as an adaptation goes, it was awful. Even for sheer eterntainment value, I can take it or leave it. My own thoughts on this DVD ammount to a resounding "meh". It's a movie I'd rent or borrow, but not something i'd wish to own.
But it was nice seeing the Bruce Timm style again.

he said it right. its a very pale adaption, and I thought it would have been cooler if it had been set as part of the DCAU. sadly, DC apparently doesnt want the DCAU anymore. =/ Bruce Timm changed his art style and New Frontier didnt look like JL or SAS or BTAS.. it bummed me out and, well, all I can say is that even then greatest things msut die.
