anyone has the potential to make weapons. Does that mean you can randomly target any nation who might be able to produce weapons. That would include any nation. Does that mean that because someone might have an occasional social drink and drive a car that you go ahead and arrest and punish them beforehand to ensure no chance ever have a drink and then drive.

he often does not finish a sentence in addressing an issue. he's talking and then in the middle of a sentence, he stops and starts on something else. happens most of the time when he's talking, except when it's something he himself addresses. But when someone asked him a question, he ususally did this.

The scarey thing is that when Bush leaves office, people will take their focus off Bush. But the Bushes, Kerry, Hitler and Illuminati gov. and CEO leaders make up the Illuminati and control the Fed. Bush never said Iraq had anything to do with 9/11 to begin with. All he said was that Sadaam had relationships with Middle Eastern terrorist groups - which he did. It's everyone else who decided to interpret that to mean that Sadaam was somehow involved with 9/11. If people in this country actually had a brain, we'd be a lot better off.

You're missing a very large chunk of the puzzle.. so let me fill it in for you. Iraq was much more farther than just "having potential to make WMDs". Iraq actually HAD WMDs. We knew because he used them against Kuwait's soldier's and civilians. Remember his mustard gas? We signed a cease-fire agreement with Sadaam over those exact weapons. In the agreement, Sadaam was required to dispose of his WMDs and send a detailed report to the UN listing names, dates, time, location - all the details.

Instead of doing this, he sends a report to the UN basically saying "How dare you challenge my authority in my own country." Bush gave him warning after warning after warning to comply - and yet, he still refused. People who follow the "Bush lied, people died" motto are missing that seriously large tidbit. You have a man who you know for a fact had WMDs. A man who completely disregards the cease-fire agreement signed with your country. Refuses to even tell you if he has disposed of it or not..

And Bush was supposed to miraculously know that he DID get rid of it? I don't think so. The obvious conclusion was that he didn't want to get rid of it and he was hiding it. Before Bush even got to office, Democrats including Joe Biden campaigned around the country in support of an invasion into Iraq over this exact thing. The only different here is that Bush is in office and not Clinton. Weird how that happened.

We can't just pull out of the Middle East. The terrorist groups didn't even arrive in Iraq until we got there. If we were to pull out, you can bet your bottom dollar they'd follow us.. just like they did at the beginning. Too many people in this country also want Osama bin Laden brought to justice. The whole WMD thing is a red herring. Bush said "The lesson learned from 9/11 is to take threats seriously before they materialize". That was the reason from the start. In this country, problems are unacceptable so the government took a seemingly logical step to proactively address potential threats. That may be a bad policy but I rarely hear it discussed. WMD was never the real reason and I understood that from day 1. Remember the "axis of evil" speech came before attempts to tie to WMD.

It comes back to money. When the US goes into Iraq they're causing tensions in the middle east.
