Absolutely. I agree with everything you said. It's like one of the worst jokes ever that the greatest creatures on earth are cursed with health problems. It's a real mental dilemma; while the idea of a wolfhound-less world is awful, I still believe that 'pure' breeding should cease.

... or just branch out. My dog is half wolfie and half lurcher; about 3/4's the size of a pure-bred, 12 years old and still belting around after me on my push-bike. In the 10 years I've had him, he's been to the vet just once (when he investigated a beehive a little too closely).

Great tribute to your pets! :-) this band is perfect for this because they are so full of love and sympathy. I had a song I would sing for my kitten (Birdy: "We'll always be together") and when he got run over, well that song became the saddest song in the world for me.

I live in Texas and we had snow a couple weeks back. My wolfer did'nt know what to do. I don't think he was real fond of it. Beautiful dogs you have. I love the breed. Can't imagin living without a wolfhound.

True! I cant imagine my life without wolfhounds. I have third wolfie in a row now. Rest of the people have "only" dogs. But this is not the dog! This is character with unbelievable charisma!
