IPhone ringtones for free!!!!

Custom ringtones.
step 1
right click the song you want as a ringtone and select get info.
step 2
click on options and select start and end time to a no more than 40 second margin.
step 3
close window and convert the song to an aac file.
step 4
right click on the converted file and select display in finder, then delete the converted file from itunes, but select keep file
step 5
go to the file in finder and change the file name suffix to m4r, then keep m4r.
step 6
double click on the song in finder and it will appear in the ringtone section of itunes!

| not being able o change to m4r, i had the same problem , and i just figured out what was wrong, you need to go to your control panel, then click on folder options,click on the view tab,and make sure the box "hide extensions for known file types" is unchecked!, then you should be able to change to m4r! hope that helps!,,if that helps ya, can you help me get some views and comments on my vid...thanks!..blu3 |

| you can also just right click the coverted song in itunes and paste in onto your desktop and change it to .m4r that way...i think its easier. then double click the desktop icon and it will show up in itunes under ringtones then just sync it... |

| hey idk if im the only one who has this problem but when i put ringtones on my iphone it just doubles and tripples the one that is already on my iphone. lets say i already have bohemian rhapsody on my iphone, so when i try to put another ringtone on there it just doubles bohemian rhapsody. any suggestions? |

| doesnt work for me...everything on itunes seems perfect, the song automatically moves to the ringtones playlist, it shows on the iphone "ringtones" tab,(where I can check selections) but there is nothing on the phone itself...any ideas anyone?? |
