Err, crafting actually only ended up being a 2nd loot for me, since I need ingrediens from 2 gathering skills, and the AH is so messed up, I ignored the crafting skill and just went with gathering skills as a 2nd loot. More money for nothing rocks!

well, that part he explanes that they have perfected. I mean he did that soo good with the apafacary crafting. You experiment your seft. use that mutch of that or that mutch of that and make UNIQU potions. Se it like you made the resipy for the best Hp potion in the game. sell that in AH and you will be like the best cloth designer in war. Now this is somthing that makes this inpossible to say: " lol, it's a copy cat of wow" Now I don't have space to say why you cudn't say that anyways.

War is revolutionary and this crafting system only adds a small element to proving that.

I love War and such, but I have to say... I don't really care that much about the crafting system. Would've been nice to create your own armor, weapons, etc.

nope. this is all for the side. in my opinion, things seem to go smoother for me if I bypass all crafting professions completely. Although I don't have any trinkets at all, and my armor always need trinkets (which I dislike, if it were up to me, trinkets would never exist or would be a hell of alot easier to get) but I don't have any trinkets, nor potions to heal myself in combat with, so it sacrifices time for minor conveiniances.

Diablo 2 have something like this an item caller Heroldic Cube. (Almost the same as MU online) U put stuff in and it conbines those items. Still to get somthing you need or want to craft it boils down too reading a 15 page manual. :( Hope there wont be such problem in WH

You make the same damn talisman over and over and over again, and you can pretty much scrap it cus noone will buy it.. /fail on the talismanmaking imo.. ;<

He's like going on and on about how they wanted the items that you craft not to be crap and on that point they failed.. u make hundreds of talismans to level up your skill.. and until you're above 125/150 u'll get crap talismans that noone wants..
Even if the vid is old, he's telling us how they wanted it to be like, and if you listen to what he says, and then look at the game as it ended up, you can certainly say that they did not reach their goal..

The talismans you make are not worthless in lower levels.You can use them yourself.I agree the effect of the low level talismans is temporary but that is why you make new talismans all the time and replace them in your armor.I like the crafting sysem but i think that it needs some improvements.

LOL it's funny to see the posts from Jacobs on the IGN forums whenever people say how boring it is and that they are quitting or talk about the combat and class imbalances he is always there to defend it cause he is too ignorant to see past it's huge flaws.
The game needs a lot of patching before it can even be seen as a good game, The Combat is in need of some serious refinements first of all, needs to have faster and flowing Combat.

apothocary is pointless, none of the potions stack with self buffs or group buffs. So if your in a guild group 24/7 you always having buffs the crafting skill is utterly useless!
