Australia is a dried out desolate, dreary place with little natural wonder. No lakes, no rivers, no mountains, nothing at all that captures the imagination. A very dull place especially considering its geographic size. Its the same no matter where you go.

Do you even know what a lake is? Tuggerah "Lake" isn't a lake at all, it's a lagoon. Lake George? You are joking right? It's max depth is less than 2 meters when it's full which isn't often! Lake Cootharaba, too, is only 3 feet deep! "Lake" Illawara is a lagoon. Lake Alexandria is almost dried up. Not by the biggest stretch of the imagination could any of these bodies of water be called major lakes. Try again.
