He's being very challenging trying to trip Ron up and if he might be doing it for the wrong reasons.
But its working out great, Ron just being himself and explaining everything so clearly and sensibly.
I'm usually very confused with a lot of politics but Ron seems to make it understandable and amazingly for a politician, he's answering every question head on!
Maybe this is because he knows what he's talking about. How refreshing!

The only difference between Paul and another smart politican that wants to make government more efficient is optimism.
Kucinich campaigned saying the programs could be made better. Paul said private companies could. Both these guys in the white house would have been very interesting.

Regardless of whatever anyone's opinion is regarding the necessity of the various departments and programs, the fact remains that they do exist and provide jobs. I work for one which employs 40 people in my county and operates in every county and state in the country. I work hard and do my job well. Why does it seem unimportant to conservatives if Ilose my job but horrific if someone loses his job in the private sector? I have a mortgage and bills just like everyone else.

I think I am pretty productive now. We have a really good program. There are almost no other jobs in my area that are in line with my degree and my experience. I don't think I want to wait tables for $2.16 an hour plus tips. Just because my work is funded by federal tax dollars (including mine) doesn't mean I am less productive than someone in the private sector. My work has value.

What kind of question is "We don't need the Commerce Department to provide commerce? or we don't need the education dept. to provide education?" Those are IRRELEVANT questions! The gov. does NOT PROVIDE those services, the STATES DO. If we went back to a gov. that gave rights to states, e.g Legalize Marijuana without the damned FED getting involved THAT is FREEDOM and supports our rights. We elect our reps to our State and if the FED can just override those laws that defeats the whole purpose!!
