meh, i dont really care what you call me, i already know a game thats better than every game you own, little big planet. it beats gears and halo with teamwork and creativity, and review scores. look up little big planet on youtube and look for the reviews. every one of them are 9.5's and 10's. no game you have can match that score, you lose you noob.

Hey tobin I just bought a PS3 and decided to rent Metal Gear Solid 4 (Was gonna be my reason for buying a PS3 but now Little big planet is thanks to your warning) At first i was upset but now I agree about Metal Gear Solid 4, those cut scenes are ridiculous. I have to say it's much better than 3's cut scenes since there were some cinimatic parts you actually got to play, other than that, I caught myself about ready to fall asleep.

For MGS4 the fastest time i got was 5 hours and that was playing as fast as i could skipping cutscenes and not killing anyone or gettin caught. If you play it like rambo and kill everything that moves you will get over 8 hours of gameplay

ya metal gears cut scenes are long but i think the gameplay makes up for it. you just need to try and immerse yourself into to this world and try and BE snake in your imagination and everything comes together

lol i totally agree cutscene time is such bullshit i actually fell asleep during one an woke up to a game over scene i got pissed but i wouldnt jus suggest rental only if u got internet because metal gear online is pretty fun because its not repetative gameplay like u got max skills so u can do everything like snake no u gotta level these up like handgun so u get less recoil and faster reload theres others like sniper rifle which is similar bonuses

i really love mgs4 but the cutscenes r really the biggest problem. other than that i think everything else was great. maybe story was confusing but its mgs its always confusing. and playing on boss extreme gets rid of the "boring" gameplay, trust me.

oh i forgot, although some scenes r long, none r even close to 1hr. such a gross exaggeration, theres like 5-8 hrs gameplay and like 2 to 3 hr total scenes.

there was alot if not complete exaggeration in the mgs4 review. sorry, if your 12 hours into the game its impossible to have 2 hours of gameplay because there is about 7-8 hours of cut scenes in the the whole game. there is about 12 hours of gameplay for an average player so i dont know what your playing. and calling the cut scenes bad and that only people who love anime and Japan stuff will like them shows how ignorant you are. obviously not a game for you. thumbs down to you.

That part was lame, but I disagree with you saying the payoff sucked. When Liquid announced the whole "Guns of the Patriots" thing I got chills. It was fantastic. And I'm not a MGS fanboy either, I never played the first 3 Metal Gear games... But I loved this game.
