| Bless you joshluxy, there is no such thing as "a covers artist" in the blues. You just play every blues your own way. That's why blues is the most difficult music to play. You have to dig deep and it takes no prisoners. Alexis Korner is reckoned to be the first of the great British bluesmen, a true pioneer. Look him up; there would be no Rolling Stones, no Cream, none of that, without him. (Not true of course, they would have happened some other way, but this is about romance, not history.) |
