1. Let man see in us ministers of the mysteries of God - A Christian must be found faithful not bad.
It is a small thing that I be judged of you -- Who much evil do.
2. I judge not myself -- Many love only their self.
3. I am not justified; who judges me is the Lord -- with His Word.
4. Judge nothing before the time - until the Lord comes.
5. God will bring to light the hidden things -- To His children peace He brings.
6. God will manifest the counsels of the hearts -- To see which are your arts.
7. Then every good man will have praise of God -- Those who left their mud.
That you may learn not to think of men - Above that which is written.
That no one of you be puffed -- Or you will be scuffed.
Who makes you better from another? -- Is it your father or your mother?
What have you that you did not receive? -- If what you have is Christ's, what can you give?
If you receive it, - Why do you glory as if you had not received it? -- Soon Jesus you will meet.
Now you are full and rich -- Can you like Jesus teach?
Ye have reigned as kings without us -- You ride Cadillac and we the bus.
May we also reign with you -- So we ride with you too.
God set us last as if we are appointed to death -- so we give Him even our breath.
We are made a spectacle to the world, angels, and men -- Here and by the Big Ben.
We are fools for Christ's sake -- Our service we never fake.
You are wise, we are weak, but you are strong -- Make for Jesus a nicer song.
You are honorable, but we are despised -- As angel Satan has been disguised.
To this hour we hunger, and thirst -- But we are last and to us you are first.
We are naked, and buffeted -- But Jesus has been our aid.
We have no dwelling place -- But we work in Jesus' pace.
We labor, working with our own hands -- And get away from hellish bands.
When reviled, we bless -- Because Jesus is our dress.
When persecuted, we suffer it -- So in glory we will fit.
When defamed, we intercede -- and in the Gospel we feed.
