The EP you mention was called The Sound of Cyril Davies, issued 1964. It included the tracks Country Line Special, Chicago Calling, Preachin' the Blues, and Sweet Mary. Someone has already posted the first two tracks from a 45. Still waiting for the other two tracks....

what a number! agreed this is a GEM alright. first heard in on an old decca records lp titled "Hard Up Heroes" some 30 years ago! unfortunately i lost it a few years later. never thought i'd be able to hear it again....blues at its best! thanks once again....you've amde my day!!!
