Adam: what do you know about Vicki? (Tears starting to appear in his eyes)
Krystal: not a lot but I do know that she wouldn't want your talent to go waste. And she would kick your ass if she found out that you stopped playing because of her.
Adam: I just can't do it.
Krystal: I know you can I know you want to.
Adam: ok but this won't be easy and I'll probably be a little rusty.
Krystal: (throws her arms around her brother) thank you so much this means a lot to all of us.
Adam: I know. I have to call work and tell them I won't be in today.
Krystal: you can do it in the car. We must get goin.
Adam: ok. Ok anyone would think you were in a hurry.
Krystal: (looks at him) DUH
They go and get in Krystal's car and they go round to Sophie's house. Krystal walks into the music room and Sophie looks at her with a questioning look on her face, Krystal just smiles and then Sophie sees Adam walking in behind her.
Sophie: (runs up to Adam and throws her arms around him) thank you so much.
Shay: yeah you are going to love this song.
Adam: no worries but I'll be a bit rusty.
Sophie: no worries. But can I ask you one question what made you say yes.
Adam: something my wonderful sister said and a memory I will never forget.
Sophie and shay also knew about Vicki but didn't want to upset Adam so they didn't say anything.
Adam: come on then show me this song.
Sophie hands him the piece of paper and he reads it. Adam picks up the acoustic guitar and immediately starts to play and it sounds wonderful Sophie jumps on the piano and plays the notes with him. They start to sing. After they finished shay and Krystal are nearly in tears.
Krystal: that's sounds so good.
Sophie: where did you get that strum pattern?
Adam: Chris?
Sophie: (gives him a weird look)
Adam: I have heard that song before. He played it for me when he started to write it. He was writing it for your birthday. It was part of his present.
Sophie: OMG I didn't know.
Adam: it's still not quiet finished but I think I know where the rest of his lyrics are. Can I go up to his room for a minute?
Sophie: (sort of flabbergasted) yeah you know where it is.
Adam: yeah.
After Adam left.
Krystal: soph you ok.
Sophie: I think so. (Huge smile on her face) I have an amazing brother.
Shay: we know.
Sophie: he was writing this for my eighteenth.
Shay: we know that too.
Sophie: I can't believe I didn't pick up on it. The lyrics everything says it. Why didn't I pick up on it?
Shay: none of us did
Krystal: until now.
Adam: (walking back into the room waving a piece of paper in the air) I found the rest of the lyrics and the good news is that they already have a melody and the chords so we have absolutely no work to do.
Sophie: except learning it.
Adam: well yeah except that.
Krystal: you guy's get back to it we'll go get lunch.
Krystal and Shy leave the room to go and get everyone some lunch. When they were gone Sophie turned to Adam
