Obviously your computing knowledge is lacked because your so used to using Mac you can't figure out any problems related to slightly more advanced software for XP or Vista.
Also, iLife stands at $79. Go to Google, type it in, and on Apple's page, it is $79. That's over £35. Windows stuff is free. You can't expect to buy a computer and get everything bundled with it unless your a tit who doesn't even use a computer to its full potential.
-- 10 Reasons Windows is better than OS X --
1. Windows can be purchased as a CD, allowing greater durability and a spare bootdisk. OS X does not allow this, also removing the greater security of a spare bootdisk.
2. A PC running Windows is far cheaper than Mac running the same specifications. The cheapest MacBook on the market is over £700.
Not true. The OS 9 -> OS X upgrade had incompatibilities. Leopard had firewall problems for people upgrading from Tiger. Etc. Windows XP comes with Outlook Express for free and Windows Mail is included with Vista. For free alternatives there programs like Mozilla's Thunderbird. Mac OS X can be considered a bad copy of the BSDs or MINIX (considering Apple didn't even create the core but rather mixed existing ones).
3. Windows is more popular than Mac OS X. This means if problems arise, there is a large online support community able to help you deal with problems. This community is far smaller if you happen to have a small Mac problem, even if it's not serious, it's nice to know you have a helping hand at your disposal.
4. iLife only comes bundled with Mac at a cost of $79. Removing iLife from your purchase reduces the cost of your machine by this amount. My cousin has done this.
Universal and Mac doesn't even work with it properly. The only thing I've had no trouble with is with a USB storage device such as a Flash Drive.
Also, installing Windows onto a hard drive running Mac = Less space for games. A fuller hard drive is a slower hard drive.
"But who wants to? They're beaitiful!"
Thats a very immature one-sided opinion. Everyone has different tastes, and some people like to be creative - like the Apple ads like to make out we are. PC's come in all shapes and sizes, you can even get mini PC's now, and you can buy different cases on the market for a cheap price.
Yes - there are THOUSANDS of products now cross-compatible with Mac and PC. But old programs (good classics that people still use) and some programs created by individuals sometimes only run on Windows. For example, console emulators are more abundant, and more advanced for Windows. Freeware and shareware is also more in supply. Also, Microsoft releases almost all software for Mac AND Windows. Apple very rarely share their software.
It can be done with plenty of hacks, but this is very complicated and illegal. Windows however is allowed to be used on a Mac. People who can't afford a MacBook or Computer have to stick with Windows, and they can't use Apple-Only software such as Final Cut Pro, if they wanted too.
10. Mac has absolutely NO security against a Virus or Worm should they get one. It is rare, but Worms on Macs account for more than 4% of the worlds largest botnet.
Unless you can find a valid point and a decent argument against every single point and make a point of your own to outnumber mine - you just got owned.
Worms don't just damage your hard drive like an average virus. Worms can do all sorts of things, and they DON'T EVEN NEED TO BE EXECUTED TO RUN.
one thing though, youve made a pc that has no problems and hasn't crashed in 5 years, so id go into business if i were you! you are obviously a master, as no pc in the world is this reliable!
seriously though, the balls you are coming out with... windows alows plug and play, it takes an hour to get anything working on a pc!
a mac just works!
Who said you have to get XP or Vista? When you get a Mac, what do you do? Play with YOUR calculator?
Odd...I have a printer at home that won't run on Mac OS X...But if a Mac OS X then that is paradoxical meaning life must be paradoxical...or a conspiracy!
Life is a conspiracy! Be alert! Avoid it at all costs!
so explain why my Micro-camera did not automatically install (which Windows XP did for me in under 12 seconds) and why it didn't even work on the Mac AT ALL? Not only did it not install automatically, you have to find a way to manually install it just to find out its not compatible. So much for "Mac works with modern technology" it even shows an ad of Mac working with a camera. So why doesnt it work with my micro camera? I didnt say PC's are flawless, I spoke about viruses.

Sorry mac users, you wont understand that...
mind you neither will pc users, but you'll be used to seeing it.
