They may not be able to read music but check out the music they WROTE... freakin unbelievable... besides the Beatle's these guys were the BEST at performing AND writing music of all time. They can write music like no others... I love the Bee Gee's and have studied them..and these guys DID write music and LOTS of it.

What so great about this is the uniqueness!! You know, most artists are just replacable, easily forgotten when time passes by. But THEY did come up with something original. Their style of singing may sound odd to some, but everyone can sing in falsetto when they try. All those jokes about too tight pants (on other videos) are just stupid and immature. Look up what's falsetto :) I think it sounds really cool and gives a uniqe feeling.

what i meant was they make they songs by Jamming (i have it on dvd from them )yes they have composed many hundreds of songs but cant read or write music notes ... i love them they are awsome even better than the beatles they didnt have a career spanning 5 decades. like the bee gees

I understand... being the non-musical person that I am (except as a lover of it) I just assumed that to do what they did they would certainly have to know how to write music... I have seen many documentaries on them and I guess I missed that. Yes, they were better than the Beatles in some ways, unfortunately the Beatles didn't get a chance to last 5 decades... and when the BeeGee's ran up on hard times they just regrouped and composed songs for others. Its amazing. I LOVE THEM..

this was recorded in Miami especially for the documentary, 'Keppel Road', produced for the South Bank Show in the UK and Bravo in the U.S. I believe PBS bought it later as well.
It was was pretty cool actually being there I must say! Being the producer, I loved working with the Brothers!!
