In october i'm joining the army, His Majesty the Kings lifeguard/combatunit to be precise...This unit has one of the best drilling squads in the world, and here is a vid of this years squad...i'm not joining this squad...i'm going in the SIBO-forces ...who specialize in combat in urban areas...they also guard the royal familys castle...looking forward to it!

Wow! That was a suprising comment from an american! What do u even know about the norwegian military? Since you are an american, i take i for granted you know very little of the outside world, so that means you know nothing. Btw, to judge the norwegian militarys capabilitys on a drill done the Kings Guards drill troop is not only stupid, its completely moronic.

Lol Im a dane living in Norway for the most of my life and of course the United States owns this military, this military is heavily underfunded, we only have a few units that reach high international standards, this is one of them tough.

From a half yank...to all yanks and fellow drillmens around the world: although I cannot speak for all yanks, I just want to say that people just need respect each other more and to the appreciation of the art of rifle drilling rather than compare each other countries ability. I beleive everybody has a unique way of showing their art and tradition. If your wanting something different look up the King's Guard Of Hawaii..maybe that will spike in interest in a unique american style of drill.

I'm a rifleman, 3 tours out. But we still like these guys and we are proud of them! They are of the best units in the world at what they do. As a grunt, I'm proud of them!
