But the video we all just watched is an example of the opposite though. Mostly carnivorous animals given the opportunity to get a quick, easy meal on a much weaker baby animal choose to care for it instead... I'm sure there are plenty of instances where the baby gets eaten too.
Also, gps93 was using that rationale to disparage adoption... Your naturally-born kid could be the next Hitler too...

Sorry, but you obviously have not been to a dairy farm. The cows are not kept in dirty filthy conditions. You need to do a little research before you sound off.

Wrong, dear. I've seen footage of egg AND dairy farms that were broken into by friends in an animal rights organization. Not talking about the tour they give to school kids on field trips...
Its hard to believe anyone can still try to argue that corporate dairy farms. Where do the thousands of photos & videos on the internet come from? I bet you'll tell me next that PETA has staged them all, right? LOL

You are very right, but practically all large corporations are evil, look at Wal-mart for example the fish section has lots of floaters. I was not talking about mass dairy industry, I was talking about farmers who love and care for their cattle.

Unfortunately, that kind of farmer (the "Old MacDonald" farmer) is the extreme minority. Unless you're buying from a friend or relative or someone you know personally, you really can't know where the milk came from.
Even Horizon milk, the most popular organic milk co in the US, has been accused of using hormones & factory-farming.
Also, dairy cows are eventually slaughtered for beef.

I had one little dog that mothered and fed a kitten though she actually hadn't had any pups at the time. The kitten died, it was too weak, some one had thrown a bunch off a bridge and this one must of got loose. But she kept going out in the woods and digging it up and bring it home. I've had dogs even go out in the winter and bring in baby field mice and try to mother them. They didn't have milk though, just put them by the stove and tried to keep them warm. Animals are amazing.
