The first-ever interview with a Presidential candidate held in a college dorm room! This happened on April 26, 2007.
Republican Presidential candidate and Texas Congressman Ron Paul visits James Kotecki's dorm room to discuss his views on foreign policy, the Constitution, and the impact of the internet on his Presidential campaign.
I'll be posting the full 30-minute interview to my "JamesKotecki" channel on YouTube:

Thanks again to Congressman Paul and his excellent staff for making this happen.

And Mexico could ... ( 3 weeks ago by SpookeyR)
And Mexico could certainly use the money, preferably to increase the quality of life of its ppl! And that could be something that could be worked out before ground is broken on the 1st refinery, .."We build in your country and you stop exporting your poor and if you don't we start mass deportation on a biblical scale!"
The individual could have their own home hemp refinery system if they wanted to, in much the same way a lot of ppl take cooking oil & convert it to diesel fuel!

"He wants to destroy the middle class."
That was the dumbest statement I've ever heard before, seriously... I'm not even joking. But do you know who is going to destroy the middle class? Obama. Obama wants higher taxes on citizens, less freedoms, more wars, more taxes on companies, national healthcare, more government regulation - if that doesn't destroy the middle class, than I don't know what will.

Ron Paul likes the taste of it when he is blowing someone, Mr Cheesy paultard there for example.
Then that is your ... ( 2 weeks ago by SpookeyR)
Then that is your slick way of saying that you want to destroy the middle class too, you twit! Abolishing half the federal gov't, returning to the gold standard, allowing anybody to do any drug that they want, will turn this country into a two tiered society of the rich and the poor!
Obama wants to raise taxes on the rich, NOT on the middle class or the working poor! Obama wants freedom and peace! Abolishing half the federal gov't will take clear in the opposite direction of that!
Since the federal ... ( 2 weeks ago by xqq0)
Since the federal reserve was established, it has systematically destroyed the dollar. Turning our money system back to gold will help our economy because it won't give the federal reserve a chance to 'print it money out of nowhere', and cause massive inflation. Abolishing half the federal gov't is, well... good. What point are you trying to make?
"allowing anybody to do any drug that they want" - No, why do you have to lie to make a point?
"Obama wants ... ( 2 weeks ago by xqq0)
"Obama wants freedom and peace!" - We're talking about the same guy, right? The same guy that voted for HR 1995, wants to send troops to Pakistan, send 100,000 troops to Afghanistan, etc. He's not for peace or freedoms at all!

That was incredibly immature, and not the least bit funny...

I thought it to be concise, to the point and very funny. If I have learned anything these past few months is paultards are the most humorless bunch of twats on the internet. That is why I have so much fun pissing them off. It is almost too easy.

It's funny how you just ignore my other statements, the one's that prove Ron Paul's right and Obama's a fraud, and instead call me humorless...

Your other statements are retarded. Every sore loser has a lame excuse. Al Gore, John Kerry. Ron Paul lost because most americans DID NOT vote for him. For whatever reason. It really is that simple. For the record, Obama is a knob. McCain is not much better. Ron Paul would do much better in Europe.

The federal reserve ... ( 2 weeks ago by SpookeyR)
The federal reserve can be abolished, the income tax can be abolished, without returning to the gold standard, without obliterating half the federal gov't, (And have you ever heard Ron Paul talk about drugs!!?), and without the massive sweeping changes in laws about drugs! If you think that it would be a good thing to obliterate half the federal gov't, then that means that you look at the middle class AND the working poor in much the same way that corporate America views them!
Many ppl in big ... ( 2 weeks ago by SpookeyR)
Many ppl in big business don't like the reality that the consumer has control over 2/3's of the US economy bc they see themselves as the dominant force. They see mergers & acquisitions as the dominant driving tool which runs the US economy...in much the same way that Richard Ramirez saw murders & executions!
Obama is the best person to be president that is still in the race. If you want change that you can believe in then I suggest ...
"If you think that ... ( 2 weeks ago by xqq0)
"If you think that it would be a good thing to obliterate half the federal gov't"
I do think it would be a good thing to obliterate half of the federal gov. We spend more than half of our budget on our military - we could easily cut 30-40% of that, medicare has been a failure (we should cut spending on that in the future), the dept. of education has been an even bigger failure, there's actually a lot of 'obliterating' to do.
...that you give up ... ( 2 weeks ago by SpookeyR)
...that you give up on poor Mr. Paul and look forward to the upcoming senatorial elections, unless of course his seat is up on November 4th, (GROAN!!) by all means, support him! McCain & Paul are both senile! If you think that what Dubya did to this country has been bad then put McCain or Paul into office and I guarantee you that we will look back in fondness on the cokehead fratboy...

Yeh, Ron Paul wants to legalize Marijuana. The fact is, legalizing it would save a lot more lives than if we kept it illegal. And what's the matter with returning to gold?

He won't win but if he did he would be assasinated as soon as he took office. When you give the control of money to bankers they control the economy. That is why if we go back to gold it will EXTREMELY help our nation.
As ideal as it ... ( 1 week ago by gentzler)
As ideal as it sounds, returning to gold won't work because there isn't enough in the world. Also, it is a commodity, which means that the value of it changes with demand for it. I love Ron Paul, but this is the only policy of his I don't agree with because of it's idealism.
That IS NOT how ... ( 5 days ago by keithaus)
That IS NOT how gold works when it comes to backing a currency. The gold standard is very viable now and always has been. Have a read of what Alan Greenspan said:
"In the absence of the gold standard, there is no way to protect savings from confiscation through inflation. There is no safe store of value. If there were, the government would have to make its holding illegal, as was done in the case of gold....
"If everyone ... ( 5 days ago by keithaus)
"If everyone decided, for example, to convert all his bank deposits to silver or copper or any other good, and thereafter declined to accept checks as payment for goods, bank deposits would lose their purchasing power and government-created bank credit would be worthless as a claim on goods. The financial policy of the welfare state requires that there be no way for the owners of wealth to protect themselves. This is the shabby secret of the welfare statists' tirades against gold...
.."Deficit spending ... ( 5 days ago by keithaus)
.."Deficit spending is simply a scheme for the confiscation of wealth. Gold stands in the way of this insidious process. It stands as a protector of property rights. If one grasps this, one has no difficulty in understanding the statists' antagonism toward the gold standard."
-Alan Greenspan
Gold and Silver are ... ( 5 days ago by JasonBrumfeld)
Gold and Silver are the only lawful and legal currency the American people are supposed to be using.
The Federal Reserve is not part of the goverment and not legal under law. Dollars are not backed by gold and have no real value.
Gold and Silver have real value, they do not lose value when saved like the illegal federal reserve notes we use today.
From June 2007 to June 2008, every 100 dollars in savings lost 12% of its value, and your interest rates didn't cover that lose.
