You're right,Woody Herman's version is so much better,because of the instruments practically..Their music is very good,I mean it,even thou it's true Manhattan Transfer made the words for their song so that at least makes them good :)

MHT Does an A+ plus job on this... The fact that they put sax into words is amazing. Comparing them to Woody is like comparing Led Zeppelin doing Mary Had a Little Lamb and Mister Rogers... ya, now you get it...Not one is better than the other, but they both have respectable excellent style/performance.

Woodys is the original. Is that what you were implying or was it something else. Either way, Woody recorded this originally in 1947 with Stan Getz, Serge Chaloff, et al. So from what your saying Woody's is the best? Because I think it is.
