Arthur Clarke - Fractals - The Colors Of Infinity 1 of 6
Uploaded by: do5e
Video Description:
Arthur C. Clarke presents this unusual documentary on the mathematical discovery of the Mandelbrot Set (M-Set) in the visually spectacular world of fractal geometry. This show relates the science of the M-Set to nature in a way that seems to identify the hand of God in the design of the universe itself. Dr. Mandelbrot in 1980 discovered the infinitely complex geometrical shape called the Mandelbrot Set using a very simple equation with computers and graphics.

That's one of the basic problems I have with "God".
People often use the word to talk about all manner of vastly differing concepts.
It appears to be a semantic argument.
I wanna try and get this as a screen saver !
It's Cool !
Infinity suggests(or can at the very least imply)that anything can be possible(including maybe even some kind of GOD.)
Mind you infinity also suggests that ANY GOD can be possible and that there may be an infinite amount of Gods with infinite variation and......well.
Look I'm gonna stop here before I give myself a brain ache !!!!!!
It's COOL !!!!
Is it the same kind of thing as the Mandelbrot set in some sort of a way?
Is it to do with fractals applied to financial markets or is it something different?
I'll see if I can look it up.
More people need to know about fractals. along with other things..
And heaven in a wild flower
Hold infinity in the palm of your hand
And eternity in an hour...Wm.Blake
