Agreed. I used to think he was an absolute prick when reading about his tossups with publishers and film studios. Watching some interviews here, he really seems like a nice bloke.

Stan Lee is not a genius, but his characters have brought happiness to millions of people. Can Alan Moore say the same? Better to bring a little more light into the world than more darkness. Spiderman will be around forever. The Watchmen, very doubtful.

Doesn't matter. Stan's creations have reached more people, but if it made people happy is not as important as why. I was hugely satisfied at the end of every Alan Moore work I read, but there are a select few artists who drew and wrote Marvel characters over the years who are even remotely inspiring to me. But even then there's nowhere near the depth of appeal for me.

Does anyone know what the age rating for Watchmen in the uk is going to be?
In america its rated R but, some R rated movies are certificate 15 in the uk and not 18. Is this the case here?
