Seven blunders of Hyderabad

Hyderabad is one of the sought after cities for education in engineering but the seven blunders that have come up in the city in the last one-year, built by the municipal corporation are perhaps reason to wonder. Sudden brakes have been applied on PV Narasimha Rao Expressway because the municipal authorities just realised that the foot over bridge, hardly a year old, comes in the way. So Rs one crore project will be brought down.

India produces too many crap engineers and programmers - cheap but that's it. Maybe the planners should have outsourced to the USA or the UK instead. Sure it would be more expensive, but at least it would be superior.

I agree they r blunders, but theres actually a reason behind it. There were several frequent road accidents in some places earlier and many school children died bcos of it. Bcos of pressure and criticizes from opposition and media they had to construct those over bridges hurriedly...and now they r on the way to metro rail..and by the way i dont think they r going to start the rail project so soon..it takes ages

Rubbish. Don't tell me that those who left are intelligent and people here are not bright. Those people who left India (after getting quality education at the cost of Indian Tax payer) are cowards. Instead of taking responsibility to build India, ran away under a pretext that they don't have future here(as if they have come from heaven). We may or may not be clever, but we are responsible and we will build Best India, and people like u, just watch it happening in front of ur eyes.

i think ppl doesn't understand the concpet. the footover bridge is constructed earlier. now they planning metro rail. till such time it will be there after completion they remove.

Nope Im not living in India but I wanna go someday so that I can live in peace. I believe in my skills so gettin a job is not a problem and I admire AR Rehman. He is a muslim and a south Indian yet to went on to become the face of Indian music. Jobs are there in India but you must be competent enough to get one. I got into infosys, peoplesoft and Transdyne before work for a pharma giant. You follow rules and everyone would follow u. Im felling bad for escaping from India.

That's true! However, look at that from the other point of view, Indian culture. In India everything must be "spicy", colorful, loud and extremely excited! They love celebrating. If you keep Indian news gently like CNN or BBC, no one will watch it everyone will fall asleep ;)
