You weak minded theists are so easy to own. Like you profess children of god, its so pathetic, like taking candy from a baby. of course I wouldn't do that to a child I have morals, its the crack pot loon brigade that prefer to brain wash and abuse the young innocents of the world. Should be a law against that sort of child abuse, I for one would certainly back it all the way.

I am not even an atheist so much as I am an antitheist; I not only maintain that all religions are versions of the same untruth, but I hold that the influence of churches, and the effect of religious belief is positively harmful. I do not wish, as some sentimental materialists affect to wish, that they were true. I do not envy believers their faith. I am relieved to think that the whole story is a sinister fairy tale; life would be miserable if what the faithful affirmed was actually the case.

That is a pretty risky wager you are gambling. If you are wrong, you loose your soul to an eternity of pain & separation from the One who offered you Salvation. On the other hand, if there is no resurection or hope in Jesus Christ then we of all men are the most pitiable - we should eat drink & be merry before we die for the race ran would be in vain. I know the work He has done in me is True; so I say confidently what a weak hand you hold - consider what you WILL lose - no doubt you will lose.

Youd do well for yourself to step outside of your little box and do some thinking of your own. Use your OWN mind. Wonder whats out there, and where it all came from, and why.
There are tens of thousands of other gods that humans believe in. when you understand why you dismiss all those other gods, you will understand why I dismiss yours.

I don't blame God as there is no such thing. I blame religion. I don't believe there is such a thing as God. Religion makes people do wicked things they wouldn't ordinarily do. It doesn't make them behave better—it makes them behave worse. You couldn't get people to hack away at the genitals of their newborn children if they didn't think there was a religious obligation to do so. The licenses for genocide, slavery, racism, are all right there in the holy text.

I was not raised in a Christian home - tomorrow is my Spiritual birthday actually, I have been born again by His Spirit for 4 years now. Though not easily beguilded into thinking that life is constrained to 'this' - for if it is, then steel, lie, cheat, kill, and be as adulterous as you possibly can. Honestly, I have tasted all these aforementioned transgressions and after having tasted the gift of God's love I willingingly, knowingly, whole-heartedly serve Him. No longer am I lost - but found.

You hypocrite - you are responding in accordance with YOUR religious views and pushing your adgenda here. I think your understanding of religion is skewed - I am not religious, I am a Child of the Living God who has been born again. I am not limited by God's Word - I have been liberated by His Text. No longer am I bound in chains by sin and my flesh - I have been set free, bought by the Blood of the Lamb. And you too can be liberated from the guilt and shame that you feel for your 'secret sins'

You seem pretty angry, TeslaSagan. Your vehemence makes you seem like you were hurt pretty badly in life. So many people are hurting in this life. There is a lot of evil today...even genocide - normally referred to as abortion - and racism in America today. I just want you to know that there is hope...and you are loved...especially by your Creator.
P.S. I'm not religous, but I am saved by the blood of Jesus Christ on the cross and so glad for His grace.

Jesus is the living God and the lord of army! Everything else is idols or demons in disguise. OT, When Israel fall away from God and went to serve idol and carve images, God did not give them victory over their enemies but delivered Israel into the hands of their enemies where they are oppress and turn into slaves like in Egypt. So the point of this is that when man worship carved images, idols, spirits and such, basically false gods then they will be ensnared and become slaves to demons.
