Good but although I do not practice Wing Chun I can tell they they aren't really using the "push and pull" of wing chun but more muscle power.

WingTsun and other Wing Chun systems do have differences, WT has been updated and changed to respond to more western forms of self defense, that's why we train Blitz Defense and more anti-ground work then "traditional" wing chun, Depends on the sifu but these changes are built into the WT system.

He may have left the IWTA but his style is very much based on WingTsun and at the time this was recorded was still a student of GM Kernspecht

Prob with mma fighting is its designed for one on one in th cage. On the street you've always got the possibility of your opponents mates turning up and they wont think twice about stomping on your head whilst your in mid-armbar on their mate or just simply knifing you in the chest. Rules go out the window in EVERY streetfight and you want to be able to dispatch and hurt immensely before using the best defense you have afterward... a swift pair of legs!

Didn't he pull a sneak attack by coming up on him from behind while he was in a discussion? That would be like you educating me on your art and the next thing we all know, somebody attacks you for whatever reason. Let me know what you think about that, I'd like to read your views on that. loco...WT is a modified wing chun. You will notice a difference in the forms, WT deviates from Ip Man Wing Chun. To see true Wing chun check out Sam Kwok, or Ip Ching

true, it does vary, but credit where credit is due, they do a nice job of bringing the take-down (wrestling) aspect to the fore in their training (something a lot of kung fu styles seem to forget these days).

I dont know much about the various WT schools, but the Wing Chun school I trained in worked ground fighting at the beginner level and continued through intermediate and advanced level. It is certainly important to be well versed in all phases of fighting

yep, traditionally trained kung fu should include striking, joint locks and pressure point techniques, and throws/sweeps as well as how to apply appropriate techniques on the ground

wing chun = balance on back foot and relax.
if you are relaxed in an attack or defence, if your opponent changes what he is doing you are uncommited to the attack and can easily convert a punch into a elbow or a grab.
everything in wing chun is a target or a handle, from loose thumbs to ears for manipulating your opponents body to bodys hundreds of pressure points that take very little force to cause much pain and paralysis.
"be like water" in body and in mind! fear is a barrier in an attack!

he is michael casey, one of the best in wing chun, the left arm of emin.
He looks like a noob cause emin is realy very strong, i've seen i'm in action.
