Chasing pavments means: being with someone in a relationship and you know it's not gonna go anywhere... like with a boy/girlfriend that cheaps and you try to hang in there with them but you know they're not gonna change... should you keep chasing them and holding on to hope that they might change... that's what it means to me... that's what makes this song so incredible... "should I give up or should I keep chasing... or in layman's terms: should I give up on your azz b/c you keep messing up."

Its nice to see a talented singer get the recognition she deserves regardless if she is petite. Your appearance has nothing to do with your VOCAL ability. I am American but I hate to say I am not surprised she go her start in England. If she was American she would have much less opportunity to succeed IMHO. The Brits are no angels to image fixation, but America is off the charts. Oh, I do thing she is very attractive as well as talented. I think most guys find Pam Anderson and Paris H. hideous.

I'm not denouncing that they make good music, but it's not soulful music and their vocals are shitty.
They might have good guitar riffs, but they're music isn't inspirational or heartfelt.
