I think 'Ashes to Ashes' was the last good song he did, till he went all '80's and yuppyish, instead of keeping his original and uniue self he jumped on the '80's bandwagon, very sad to loose him like that.

wpremiere.. ive been told major tom was a reference to heroin..which in the early seventies bowie was pretty messed up on it. major tom was a code word the people around bowie used for heroin..so im told
