Replied to for motherfucking truth...aside from FF6 being the best. Personally, I liked 4 more. That being said, 6 was masterfully done, but it was the game which started the trend of "anyone can be anything". That pisses me off. 6 was a great game, otherwise.

7's among my least favorite of the series, just cause it took FF6's trend of anyone can do/be anything and went WAY overboard with it, making each character as essentially useless as the next. It didn't matter who was in the party as long as you had good materia. That having been said, I do like FF7, despite my above sentences indicating otherwise. The only FFs that I hate are 2 and 10-2.
