A big sorry for those who have contacted me and didnt get a respsonse.
I've had a lot of requests asking for help for people wanting to do their own mods and a couple of requests from people wanting me to build them a system.
I am currently planning a XBOX 360 PC V2.0
However due to my budget I can't afford this build and would basically like to build this for someone, who will pay for the components.
the new design will omit the big fan at the side and the ugly power supply replacing the power supply with one like a normal laptop one. it will also feature a proper fully ejecting dvd drive like a true xbox 360.
specs will be:
Intel core 2 duo 2.0 Ghz
2GB RAM
DVI out
VGA out
HDMI out
2 x LAN
6 x USB 2.0 (including the two at the front)
120GB HDD, the hard drive will be swappable with any xbox 360 drives.
I am based in London UK and will need to be supplied with a broken xbox 360, and the rest of components will cost about £400 (this does not include the cost of an operating system)

Looks nice cool idea, but as a computer..OH so very slow.
Xbox 360 Xenon 3.2 tri-core 1 meg L2 cache=dog. Any Bottom end Intel core duo 1.8g 4-8 meg L2 would kill a 360. It has a Ati 500mhz R500/R520 & DDR graphics chip, again bow wow. any vid card ATI X800pro or higher would kill it. Most computer vid cards run around 1800mhz 512 to 1024 megs of DDR4 memory. Console to Computer no console is even close to the performance.
But 8 cores?!?! each at 3.2?!?!
I can't believe that...
Games very rarely even support quad core let alone 8 cores

Why are games on the ps3 only running on medium or high out of ultra-high and have no AA?
And yet on my computer it has ultra-high and 8*aa?
