Most of the changes in the Director's Cut are in later chapters, including new SFX, new footage, and major digital remastering. And it's difficult to see the color correction that took place on a tiny YouTube player!

I think geek is a better word to use. Popularity challenged is a generalization. Not all geeks have social issues, asswipe.
