| As for ragging on "spandex riders", some of those guys put in 100 miles a day around where I live and are in extremely good shape. Having 18-wheelers buzz by you at 80 mph is certainly a different feel than passing slow moving cars in NYC. |

| Bicycles must follow all the rules a motor vehicle does. However, in NYC crazy bike messengers tossing street laws aside are not of much concern. Cops also understand that they have a dangerous job where time is money, so they let it pass. |
