We played this in my college concert band. The arrangement was featuring the first alto sax and I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to play it. One of my favorite pieces of all time. Thanks for composing such a terrific work.

moonmusicnartan and moliflower, if you google 'Ashokan Camps' you'll find some answers. I believe they're located in the Catskills in New York state, and he and Molly actually teach classes. The words usually associated with this (not written by J. Unger) tell of the sadness of leaving friends and shared good times.
