Long version of Texas Flood by stevie ray vaughn ! Texas Flood is an electric blues album by blues guitarist Stevie Ray Vaughan and his band Double Trouble, released in 1983.
Although "Texas Flood" has three verses of lyrics, the song is more of a prolonged guitar solo, allowing Vaughan to show off his characteristic electric blues style. During live shows, he would often play portions of this song behind his back, arousing an enthusiastic crowd response. Stylistically, "Texas Flood" is structured around the common three chord blues progression. Written and performed in the key of G (sounding F# because of Vaughan's tuning), it is in 12/8 time, or compound time[1], which gives it a "slow burning" feel that is common in Texas blues.

it's really a fucking shame that he had to die in a fucking helicopter accident. the world lost someone great that day, and i never had the chance to see him live :(
i'm just glad that clapton was not on the flight with him, but it's still a horrendous point in rock and blues history.

This guy was fuckin' incredible. Thanks for posting this. On a blues kick tonight and was just jumping around and came to this. I have heard and seen a lot of good musicians but this just about takes the cake. The music and feeling of what he plays just oozes out of the guys pores. Just look at him and tell me he does not give 100% - if you saw him live you got your money's worth. Gotta wonder what it would be like if he was still around.

the poet in me feels like he just strums the strings of my soul like it was nothing...the critic in me sees a man who has mastered his performance to the point where he transformed the guitar, the band, the crowd, the entire scene into a vehicle for soulful expression. Those like me who "get it" are mesmerized by this video and are so glad the performance wasn't only seen by the few who were there that night. thanks for posting.
