Wow... this is a great commercial. It shows that most of those models "beauty" is nothing but photoshop and a good coifeur. It reminds us that the real beauty, is the natural one.

The problem with this comercial is that DOVE is not addressing why beauty is held up to girls as the ideal to aspire to rather than, academic achivement, politics, philosophy etc.. The comercial says "hey down in the dumps caus' your not "beautiful"? well guess what you are! models are airbrushed! you are just as pretty as them caus' that's whats important! now buy some DOVE soap so you can be "Naturally" beautiful.
maybe they are trying but the issue is DEEPER than makeup and photoshop.

Wow... this is an amazing commercial. you take one look at it, and you really realize whats happened to society. yes, my username is pokemonmasterette. deal with it. but seriously, you see these ads for lipo, and plastic surgery, and you just wonder, whatever happened to NATURAL beauty? all this makeup and junk has polluted it.

i used for my english project because my topic was media messages and when the light turned back on everybody's jaw was open they were just so suprised that that really happens to models and half the time the models don't really know that they go back and do all that editing and airbrushing
