the whole board is copper
the etched part is copper
wouldn't the current be just disperesed through the whole copper board? why would it choose to follow the etching?

The board itself is actually fiberglass. The copper is just a thin layer on one or both sides of the fiberglass. The etchant removes just the exposed copper leaving traces and the fiberglass.

Well, what my theory is, is that when the other things like, chips, transistors, resistors, diodes, and all the other stuff would just draw the current :)

the ethcant likes to be warm , use an aquarium heater, and also use an aquarium bubler to create agitation. worked well when I was taught to do this with photo positive etching.

Hi, I found the most difficulty step is drilling the holes on PCB. That tiny drill bits are very easy to break. I already broke few of them and they are not cheap. Can you please give me some advise, thank you.

oh my god could you be any more stupid. the point is to make it more permanent after you've done all the testing on a breadboard. you dont HAVE to do it if you dont want to and no one said it was easier.
