Autism tends to be stereotyped and overhyped...I disagree with naming autism as the cause of intelligence (or "genius") of any variety, be it mathematical or mnemonic.

Autism? Perhaps he's just a (I can't spell for my life) svont (that's how it's pernounced, anyways), someone who excels in one area, but lacks in others. It could be someone who can't cook or make friends but play piano well, to something this radical, but it isn't an excuse. He simply has great memory, and that doesn't mean he sucks at other stuff, he simply spoke a little late.
Nothing wrong with that, quite amazing, actually.

He is extraordinary at what he does the best thats for sure, however, like any other extraordinary person, he has other flaws equaly great.
Normaly people like him have an unbalanced brain, one side with better than average blood flow than the other, you can notice he has some dificulty in speaking that suggests that his talent come from the right side of the brain (the left side is responsible for speaking).

I don't know if this is the right word (in english)....what I want to say is that he is an authist!!! he isn't able to cross streets without the help of his sister....well it's amazing ability with a very bad price!!! I saw a whole documentation about this guy in germany!
