Ok roadrage! This one's for you.
title should be: ... ( 2 years ago by sbove)
title should be: North american grey wolves, cruelly caged, deprived of ample habitat, fat, bored, a pathetic example of human cruelty (even it is to protect them from other humans who would simply shoot them).
Less Humans, More Wolves!

I agree, somewhat. These wolves were born and raised in captivity at the Alabama gulf coast zoo. They're kept in a LARGE, FREE ROAMING enclosure. These animals are very well cared for. Watch them on Animal Planet's series, "The Little Zoo That Could". Check your local listings for the times the program airs. You'll see that they're not kept "cruely" here. They are very happy!
Thanks for watching:).

That's a good question.
Sad but true, people don't like, and want to kill, what they are afraid of or don't understand.
These wolves are better off here, at least they're safe from hunter's & haters bullets.
Thanks for watching and the comments.:)

I agree: less humans, more wolves. People are generally just assholes.

Now I wouldnt go that far, in general, most people are well-meaning individuals. They just need education. Real assholes think they already have all the answers & refuse to learn anything else. Like, conservation, habitat preservation IE.
Thanks for the input your opinion is appreciated.:)
"lupus", not "lupis ... ( 1 year ago by nikicd)
"lupus", not "lupis"... and the human population sure could use much reduction for the sake of wildlife habitat; which is being permanently lost to 6 million more people on this planet every month.

Thanks for the correction, was a typing error, didn't catch it.
So, as for reducing the number of humans to save habitat, what would you propose we do, start shooting people?:)
Just kidding!
That question I get ... ( 1 year ago by nikicd)
That question I get asked often, actually... The answer is very simple: Less children. Of course, in a world where money is worshiped and more people means a growing economy, that's almost a pipe dream.
I agree with you on ... ( 1 year ago by wildstar1)
I agree with you on that. Breeding indiscriminately can be detrimental to any species. Unfortunately, there'll never be a perfect world.:(

It is very sad to see that we have to keep some of them behind a fence to protect them. Maybe, someday, we won't have to.

I would love to see them all running free. I too share the same hopes for all wild species. Zoos are ok and have their places, but they're no substitute for the wild.
Thanks for watching.:)

Who suggested killing anyone?
And, moreover, why does a comment, posted by someone you don't know, piss you off so much?lol
Take some advice, don't argue with morons in public. No one will be able to tell the difference between the real morons and the rest.:)
