Skywalker Jetpack Test
Uploaded by: herrona
Video Description:
Test 2 was conducted to confirm modifications made after test 1. The test was ended early due to an engine failed due to ingesting a sensor wire. The test confirmed that the changes were successful. Here I am using 8 AT 450 AMT USA turbines to power the jet pack. The total power output of the engines is about 360 lbs of thrust. I wanted to use AMT Netherlands Olympus engines that put out 53 lbs of thrust per engine, but could not afford to do so. The engines are cantered away from the pilot thereby reducing the vertical thrust.
