More features doesn't necesarilly mean more money.
Alot of the more expensive amps have on channel and no onboard reverb or effects loop.
Look at a Hiwatt or Trillium.

From what you said I don't even think you play guitar. There are plenty of harder things than eruption. And you don't really even have to change a whole lotta tubes because I've played through a 60 somethin Fender amp and it sounded awesome with orginal tubes.

dude i've got the roland micro cube amp ($100) and it has (acoustic , jc clean , black panel , brit combo , classic(electric) ,and the R-Fier) voices and the EFX are ( chorus , flanger , phaser , tremolo ) , it has (delay and reverb) and of course tone gain and volume.

I also got a charvel, Fender, Washburn, and a knock off.
