Well, while picasa and .Mac are great products, they are a different animal, being both local and online. We were hoping to keep it more focused on the online photo sharing tools and sometimes that means focusing in on a specific breed. You're not alone in asking, btw. :)
I would like to translate the sound of your videos in my language (Italian), based on dotSUB subtitles.
This would allow me to spread more your videos in my country.
Can I do this without having copyright problems?
No they don't. Remember the little incident where private photos on flickr became public for some hours, due to a bug?
I recommend not uploading photos which you would mind some stranger seeing.
There are other ways to backup, like burning them on a cd.
Anyway, there is no other convenient way of sharing a lot of photos with family who is far away :/
