Im not sure if i feel sad for the people who do not "get" this movie/scene...i just feel such gratitude that i do....like any of the deep (and sometimes simple messages)of life, i dont believe everybody is actually meant to "get" them. Without getting all conspiracy theory, but there will always be inner circles...those with knowledge that is not for the masses, maybe this is one of those examples..so instead of feeling sad, i am more reflective..a shepard in a feild of sheep and occasional wolf

I don't think a plastic bag caught in an updraft is the most profoundly aesthetic footage on the planet, but I don't think that's the focus of this scene.
To me it's the idea that someone can try to find beauty and meaning in something others would consider so mundane or ignore completely that makes it beautiful. It's the idea that there is more to what we see that conveys true beauty in this film-- even if (or especially because) it uses imagery not traditionally associated with that.
