Dear BodyPerformanceTV,
I have fat only in my abdomen.
I am trying to lose via bodybuilding, and I drink protein drink for gaining lean mass is it wise? Or I shouldnt take protein drinks?

Only lifting weights will cause you to gain lean muscle mass. And you get enough protein in your regular diet to repair your muscles. Taking in extra protein calories is going to make losing body fat more difficult. I would also start a regular cardio program. This will help burn off the additional fat.

you sound like you no quite allot so i need ur help i am realy quite fat (abought 10 stones) and i realy wanna lose weight just the other day i thought what would happen if i stayed fat for the rest of my life just the thought makes me feel sick so please can i have some more simpler advise on how to lose weight thankyou so much please get bak to me as soon as you can

you know, I was skeptical when I first thought this, but it's true. I first started at 233lbs, and I'm now 220. I ate less, but I up my protein/fiber levels while I lifted. So, I would say it's possible and I never feel like I'm dieting. Good stuff.

No, whey protein will not help you. Simply eating more protein does not build muscles. Lifting weights builds muscle and we get more than enough protein in our diet to help repair and grow our muscles.

This guy is a genius. He's manifested many common misconceptions, and I've learned more in two minutes of his lecture than taking two weeks of human biology. In addition, I'm doing what he's telling me to do, and I've lost 15 pounds in two months (to some ppl, that's not much, but to me its a miracle). Thanx man!

I take it by that comment that you do not agree that when you lift weights. You need to have enough rest and consume between 1-2 grams of protein per lb of body weight per day to significantly increase muscle mass.
I am not attacking your comments, but asking you to justify them as your statement goes against all literature in the bodybuilding world.

The literature in the bodybuilding world is put out by people who take steroids and don't know about natura musscle growth, and by companies that promote products to sell - Proteins, supplements, vitamins. So much of their information is incorrect and directed at selling unnecessary products to make money.

Im 5'11, 17 years old and 230 lbs.. Im a bit muscular, but fatty as well. I don't know how this works out.. I work out nearly every day i eat a salad and a tuna fish sandwhich every day for lunch but i still cannot get rid of the flabs :(

Without any additional information I'll bet you're not quite as strict about your diet as you think. Time to do cardio. Try 30 minutes of walking and jogging every day. And then let me know how you're doing in two months.
