Well yeah, shooting kids is something to be avoided, but I think of it like this:

Eine frage an euch, bitte denkt darüber nach:
Was würdet IHR machen, wenn euch dieses Kind mit einer Kalashnikow gegenüber steht und dazu bereit ist euch ein paar dutzend Kugeln im Kaliber 7,62 x 39 mm mit 2000 Joule in den Körper rein zu pumpen?!
Es tut mir Leid, aber um mein eigenes Leben zu retten würde ich genauso reagieren wie der Soldat. Das Kind kann nix dafür und es täte mir unendlich Leid und würde mich mein ganzes Leben lang verfolgen. Aber mein Leben ist mir wichtiger.

Ich glaube ich würde versuchen, das Kind dazu zu bewegen, die Waffe wegzutun und mich und den anderen Soldaten gehen zu lassen. Vermutlich würde ich aber ganz anders reagieren.

Mm, it's not the most accurate video in terms of military gear and tactics. But the music is so powerful and the message is really made clear. Child soldiers have existed for centuries, and still do to this day. To those reading this: do some reading about the problem, if you haven't. It might open your eyes.

Question 1: WHY ARE THERE SO MANY GERMAN POSTERS WHEN THIS IS DONE ENTIRELY IN ENGLISH (except for the kid, what language is he speaking?). THERE AREN'T EVEN SUBTITLES!!!
Question 2: Can someone explain to me more in depth the meaning of this video?

WTF!?! I was just saying that because I didn't understand how Germans even wanted to post on this video since they speak a different language. If I saw a video done entirely in German I would not post on the video since I didn't understand it. But most of the posts are in German so I was just wondering.

das problem wäre aber, dass das kind nichts dergleichen erlauben würde, da es nunmal von kindbein an wortwörtlich darauf abgerichtet wurde, keine gnade zu zeigen, weshalb diese soldatengattung schons eit jahrhunderten so erfolgreich existiert. übrigens interpretiere ich den film dahingehend, dass der soldat zuerst versucht, das kind zum aufgeben zu bewegen, sich dann aber der ausweglosen situation bewusst wird. vielleicht eine metapher auf den irakkonflikt.
