This is a great song. Remembering the good times at the dance with loving people. I can't understand why some people call the music borracho music, I was having a good time at the club in the 1990, and I didn't drink, and I didn't see no borrachos there.

First time I heard the Texas Tornados was on Detroit Public Radio many moons ago. I loved it. I went out and bought the cd later that day. MY whole family gets up and dances around to it when ever it's on, including our too cool for everything kids.

Yeah gringos. I'm sure they know that they are pronouncing it wrong. JUST saying...I am from New Mexico and surrounded by Spanish on a daily basis. I've heard all kinds of ways that people pronounce things and I have been to many places where the "white people" make these types of pronunciation mistakes when attempting to speak Spanish. So I made that statement based on experience.

I was generalizing, not dissing the band in any way. They're awesome. Look before you leap ;)I think somebody was offended by the word "Gringo" It can be a term of endearment too. You can't tell me that you yourself do not observe these mis-pronunciations. To the Spanish speaking culture these mistakes are humorous. I can't help laughing when I hear them.I know not all "Caucasians" are like this and I give props to those who learn, or show an effort to pronounce Spanish properly. Cheer up! ^^

its just like Mexicans who can't pronouncer English right, after the teenage years if your trying to learn a new language that you didn't know as a kid, its pretty much impossible to master a language perfectly without mispronunciations.

Plenty cheery here.I spend more time in Mexico than you know. About 20 minutes from the border. Surf down there all the time and have for the past 30 years. I do not contend to speak for"the Spanish speaking culture"even though I might consider myself in that group. The word gringo means more than you say.Kind of like Haole.That's not for discussion here though.Laughing at mispronunciations?I teach my students not to do that."To be expected" just doesn't seem cool to me.I'm sure you meant well.
