The band recently got finished playing dates with Non-Point and Socialburn, and they'll take about a month off before starting their next leg of dates in support of, Next. Man there r some sad fuckers on here *cough*revolutionday1*cough* I think Sevendust are as good today as ever. Obviously they had to tweak things when Clint left but that's what good bands do. Besides, as good as Dark New Day is, they can't hold a candle to the Dust

I think the guys rushed NEXT, cuz it didn't turn out that good in my opinion. However, they redeemed themselves with ALPHA. I just hope this new record isn't rushed, cuz it seems like it might be considering it's coming out almost a year after the last one.

When I heard why they actually parted ways, I felt this too, yes. But...Sonny DOES suck. I mean...they couldn't have got somebody better than a bald-headed pasty-ass whiteboy that can't play anything but de-tuned barre chord crap? Not to mention, there are no more of the killer vocal harmonies that ol' boy provided. "Seasons" started to get a little weak & watered down, but it's better than this "screamo" shit they put out now.

I personally don't think either guitarist was bad. Sevendust is the ONE band I know that makes ENTIRE CD'S worth of good music rather than 4 awesome tracks and shoveling in shit for filler. I was afraid with Clint leaving, Sevendust was gonna have a worse riff writer, cause really, if the riff to a song sucks, I just won't listen to it.
Turns out Sevendust hasn't changed a bit. I can't wait for the new CD, and am glad Mayo's part of the family now.

SO sorry...."Screamo" -to me- means anything that is basically yelling/growling like Cookie Monster/or yes kids, even SCREAMING over a shitty beat, and not much else. Sorry to offend your teenage sensiblities and all. My advice: get a tampon and soak that shit up.

Mate is was a long time coming... I know the full story morgans my bro at he told me when he was in Australia with Ozzy.... I cant tell you everything... But a few people within the band knew ages ago... Clint left and needed sometime to get better personal shit and hes spot was awlays gonna be there for him. And the album name was known about 6mths ago hope about clint coming back- sorrow about sonny leaving. So was first single "return of the prodigal son= clint.... :) shhhh
